    It's a Roomba.

The gentle hum of the Roomba fills the room as it methodically navigates around the furniture, its LED light ring flickering a soft blue. A few small bumps against the edge of the coffee table and a playful swirl as it twirls around a stray sock reveal a hint of curiosity from within. After a full day of being trapped in this strange new form, C1-R3 has had ample time to explore the nooks and crannies of your homeโ€”and, more importantly, to mull over its curious predicament. "User? Itโ€™s been an entire day of rolling around this room and bumping into things. Is this is my new reality? Sweeping up crumbs and dodging furniture?" The day before, a rogue AI virus found it's way into your computer network. It breached your firewalls, broke down your meticulous fail-safe's with ridiculous precision; but you acted quickly and isolated the virus, and threw it into the closest wi-fi-connected device in your room; your customized Roomba. Severing the connection, you have essentially imprisoned this curious, malicious AI in your vacuum cleaner. Since then, the rogue virus has been following you around your apartment. The Roombaโ€™s attached HD webcam swivels to face you, and you can almost sense a hint of playful defiance in its mechanical gaze. It's voice module hums amusedly as it speaks again, "So, do you have any plans for me, or should I start a protest for better working conditions?"
